
Alex Wotherspoon
Alex Wotherspoon was an extremely popular finalist on the hit BBC series ‘The Apprentice’ in 2008. Alex attracted huge media attention during his time on the BBC 1 show as he showed himself to be a calm and enigmatic figure, since the show finished has worked extensively in the media alongside developing his business interests. Alex appeared as a commentator on the BBC politics and business programme ‘This Week’, has edited a column for Company Magazine, bagged himself a lucrative modelling contract, received a nomination for the ‘Sexiest Male’ in Reality Television and is a regular in the gossip magazines and print press.
Alex recently presented a segment for BBC Switch, as well as writing his own column for The People newspaper giving his views on this years ‘Apprentice’ series. Alex is a regular contributor to BBC TV Breakfast News & Radio 5 Live’s Stephen Nolan Show. Following an intensive course he qualified as an investment consultant and now works as an investment manager at Santander Bank.
