Nanny Pat

Patricia Brooker (75) otherwise known as "Nanny Pat" is the cult star of hit ITV2 series 'The Only Way is Essex' and is the nation's favourite TV Gran. Matriarch of the programme's central family The Wrights, Pat is always on hand to offer straight talking relationship advice to her grandchildren Mark and Jessica and their friends. Her appearances on the show are characterized by her witty one liners and delicious home cooking.

A former East End pub landlady, newsagent and dinner lady for 25 years at the Essex primary school attended by her five children, Pat admits 'The Only Way is Essex' has given her a totally new lease of life (The Sun, 26th January 2011) and wonders every day what her late husband Charlie would have made of her TV fame!
