Rob Ellis & Wingman

Rob Ellis began his radio career at Manchester's Key 103, before moving to Galaxy Manchester's Drive Time show and was quickly fast-tracked onto the breakfast show which he has made his own. Rob's approach to radio is upbeat, original and his shows are a lot of fun; alongside his trusty partner Wingman the duo have delivered spectacular month on month Rajar increases during the 2 years they have headed the station's flagship slot. 2008 saw Rob nominated for the Sony Radio Awards – ‘Rising Star’ honour and earlier this year his show became the most listened to show in the Manchester region.

In their time on air they have championed campaigns supporting Corrie legend Deirdre Barlow, spectacularly wound up David Beckham, taken their listeners on pub crawls and continually construct and deliver some of the funniest stunts ever heard on UK radio!
