Laura Whitmore

With a 4-year degree in journalism under her belt plus a stint as the Editor for her student magazine, Irish born Laura Whitmore beat off over 3000 hopefuls to win the MySpace/MTV “Pick me” competition.
 
Having won the coveted MTV News contract Laura quickly proved herself a worthy winner with reporting duties that have now taken her all over the globe. Covering all the major music and film festivals both here and internationally, Laura has interviewed the likes of Coldplay, Robert Downey Jr. and more recently Michael Cane.
 
With her journalistic background Laura is not only savvy but has kept her feet firmly on the ground, this will undoubtedly hold her in good stead with her future-broadcasting career
