Trevor Nelson

As a pioneer in the Urban scene, Trevor started his broadcasting career at then pirate Kiss FM, going onto A&R artists such as D’Angelo, signing Lynden David Hall at cooltempo/EMI records.
 
Trevor was awarded with a special GOLD lifetime achievement award at this years Sony Radio Academy Awards.

Broadcasting across 3 radio stations, Trevor currently hosts the official start to the weekend on Radio1:  Saturdays 7-9pm. Weekdays on 1Xtra Monday-Friday 10am-1pm and Radio 2's Soul Show every Wednesday 10-11pm.

Behind the scenes Trevor was awarded an MBE for services to charity. DJ’s regularly around the UK and Europe now in his 10th successful summer residency at Pacha, Ibiza. Has released 5 compilation albums
