Danni grew up in Kenmore, deep in the Scottish countryside. She loves nothing more than being outdoors, up to her knees in mud and getting her hands dirty.
From an early age Danni was involved in her family property development business. What started out as a caravan park and old farm buildings set on a 170 acre estate, now boasts nearly 50 buy to let holiday homes, a golf course, bar and restaurant.
A qualified riding instructor, Danni also founded a riding stables on the family estate with horses rescued from a meat factory in Hungary. Building the stables (physically) from scratch with her dad and some local friends, the riding club is now a thriving business.
She was part of the winning team at the Scottish Equestrian Championships in showjumping and dressage.
Danni is the newest presenter on the Channel 4 hit series, A Place in the Sun, and is the co-host of ‘Car and Country’ which transmits worldwide. Danni has also presented for BBC Three’s coverage of T in the Park, London Fashion Week and hosted a ‘Walk the Walk’ charity event to a live audience of 17,000 people.
A keen petrol head, Danni got her first car when she was 9 and was driving when she was 10 – albeit in a car with no doors. She has taken part in a demolition derby and a supercars race through Scotland coming first and beating her 30 male opponents.
Danni has recently covered the early morning breakfast show on Radio X.
