Georgie Okell is a TV and radio broadcaster, DJ, writer and currently anchor of Fuse News in the USA.

Hailing from Chester, 26 year old Georgie studied International Relations and French at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Whilst there she balanced her schoolwork with a job in a record store and hosting The Georgie O Show on St. Andrews Radio a new music show for which she won an award in her final year.

After graduating Georgie moved to London and worked briefly for a major record label before being approached to screen test for Channel 4’s youth strand T4 in 2010. She quickly became an established and popular member of the weekend T4 presenting team. For Channel 4 Georgie has also hosted the music breakfast series, Freshly Squeezed and fronted youth campaigning series Battlefront. She has co-presented programming around the Mercury Music Prize, NME Music Awards and Cannes Film Festival.

In 2013 Georgie co-devised, co-hosted and co-produced the first ever live online talk show series in the UK The Fox Problem.

Georgie currently resides in New York where she works as a live DJ, hosts a weekly new music show titled Pop Goes the Future on the iconic East Village Radio and is a music and fashion writer for VICE. She joined the US Fuse TV network as host of their nightly music news programme Fuse News in January 2014.
