With over three decades in film, theatre and television, Sadie Frost is producer, actor, fashion designer and author, starring in such films as ‘Bram Stoker’s Dracula’ alongside Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder and Anthony Hopkins and Television Drama’s such as ‘Uprising’ with Donald Sutherland and David Schwimmer and working with directors including Francis Ford Coppola and Paul W.S Anderson.
In 1999 Sadie set up production company Natural Nylon with fellow actors Jude Law, Ewan McGregor and Jonny Lee Miller, which went on to produce the science fiction/horror feature ‘eXistenZ’, followed by ‘Nora’. Frost then went on to co-produce the American science fiction feature film ‘Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow’ starring Angelina Jolie and Gwyneth Paltrow.
Later this same year Sadie co-founded the fashion label ‘FrostFrench’. It was created by Sadie Frost and Jemima French, the label began in lingerie and then expanded into clothing collections. Sadie and Jemima were awarded ‘Designers of the Year’ by Elle Magazine in 2004. The company also had an Autumn/Winter debut show which featured Kate Moss.
Sadie has written articles for publications including Harpers, Stella Magazine and Balance and had a book entitled ‘Nourish’ written with her sister Holly Davidson and friend Amber Rose published in 2015.
Sadie is the patron for the Hepatitis C Charity, she is an Ambassador for The Roundhouse and helps raise money for their youth projects. Sadie also works with GRAEae, a charity that champions diversity in the theatre sector boldly placing D/deaf and disabled artists centre stage.
In 2012, Frost co-founded the production company Blonde to Black Pictures dedicated to developing challenging, relevant and entertaining content for global film and television audiences.
Carrying on with her natural affinity and flair for fashion, Sadie will release her self designed yoga line named ‘Frost’. Sadie’s philosophy is to create comfortable and stylish active-wear with an ecological and fair trade conscience. ‘Frost’ will launch Autumn 2019.
